Education

I received my MSW from the Columbia University School of Social Work in 1987.  I attended the Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy and received my Certificate in Psychoanalysis and Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy in 1997.  I have studied Somatic Experiencing (R) and am a Level II Sensorimotor Psychotherapist. I am a Certified IFS Therapist. I am also certified in EMDR, one of the most clinically validated PTSD treatments. These modalities allow the body's built-in inclination to heal to safely, gently, and effectively work through trauma.

Experience

In addition to my private practice, I am committed to community mental health and have worked as a director, supervisor, and clinician in nonprofit settings for over 25 years.

Fees and Insurance

Individual therapy is $250 for 45 minutes. Couples' sessions are $300 for 1 hour. I am in-network with AmidaCare and MetroPlus. I provide detailed statements for use with all out-of-network insurers.
